Meet Matthew Rothman, 10K’s New ISV Partner Manager

Today, we proudly announce that Matthew Rothman has joined the 10K team as our first ISV Partner Manager!

Matthew started his professional services career in the Microsoft ecosystem but transitioned to the Salesforce space over 10 years ago. From the jump, he embraced the mantra, “If it’s not in Salesforce, it doesn’t exist” – something he repeats to customers quite often. Having worked for several SIs and ISVs in sales and delivery, Matthew’s background and expertise will bring a valuable perspective to 10K’s ISV Partner Program

Read on to learn more about Matthew and his vision for his new role as our ISV Partner Manager.

You’re 10K’s first ISV Partner Manager. What is your vision for the role, and what are you most excited to accomplish in your first year?

I’m eager to provide value and support for 10K’s Expert Community, our current ISV partner roster, and our future partners. My focus will be working closely with the 10K Community so I can identify and pursue ISV partnerships that will benefit from and expand our on-demand consulting model. I also look forward to working alongside our ISV Delivery Manager, John Receveur, to ensure our experts and partners are synced up for successful solution delivery.

Additionally, I want to ensure that our ISV partners have all the support they need to grow their software practice. By leveraging 10K’s on-demand experts, our partners can focus on building great products without worrying about balancing professional services delivery. Our community can introduce them to customers they never would have been exposed to without 10K.

10K’s on-demand consulting model is unique in our industry. Why do you believe in the model, and why do you think what we’re doing matters so much in the Salesforce ecosystem?

10K has built an innovative consulting model that more effectively supports complex digital transformation initiatives while guaranteeing a better customer experience. Our on-demand services give Salesforce customers the freedom to ramp up or down seamlessly to fit their evolving needs. Flexibility is one of our key differentiators.

10K’s vision is to give people the freedom to excel at the work they love. How do you see yourself and your role in this vision?

My role is to collaborate with our community of independent Salesforce consultants. We are focused on supporting their career and business goals and determining how we can realize those goals together. It’s essential to understand the type of ISV partner our experts are interested in working with and their goals in working with a particular solution. It’s all about providing opportunities for our expert community to strengthen their skill sets and deepen their experience across cutting-edge technologies.

Meet John Receveur, 10K’s New ISV Delivery Manager

Today, we proudly announce that John Receveur has joined the 10K team as our first ISV Delivery Manager!

John has played in nearly all corners of the Salesforce ecosystem. His first foray with Salesforce was as an end user, primarily for sales pipeline management. After finding interest in the technology itself, John joined a Salesforce ISV to help create an improved mobile experience for the platform. Most recently, he was on the SI partner side, where he supported delivery to sales engineering and developing go-to-market strategies for several industry-specific solutions. John’s unique background and experience make him an exciting addition to 10K’s internal team and ISV Partner Program

Read on to learn more about John and his vision for his new role as our ISV Delivery Manager.

You’re 10K’s first ISV Delivery Manager. What is your vision for the role, and what are you most excited to accomplish in your first year?

We share a common goal with each of our ISV partners: to provide a successful solution delivery and exceptional customer experience. My job is to ensure our experts and partners are equipped to deliver scalable and repeatable success across every engagement for every customer.

Additionally, we want to help our ISV partners grow their businesses by supporting their engagements with the Salesforce ecosystem’s most elite experts. With 10K managing the delivery of our partners’ solutions, we can help them open doors to new customers. In my first year, I am most excited about empowering our expert community to deepen their 10K skills and capabilities amongst our ISV partner solutions.

10K’s on-demand consulting model is unique in our industry. Why do you believe in the model, and why do you think what we’re doing matters so much in the Salesforce ecosystem?

10K has designed a consulting model that allows for flexibility, both for customers and independent Salesforce consultants. Given the rapidly evolving nature of enterprise technology applications, the ability to be flexible and quickly ramp up and deploy new solutions with trusted expertise is paramount.

10K’s vision is to give people the freedom to excel at the work they love. How do you see yourself and your role in this vision?

For the ISV ecosystem specifically, we give our expert community the option to broaden their skills in solutions that we have determined to have large growth prospects in the marketplace. Conversely, we are providing our partners the freedom to focus on the work they love doing (building great products), while we manage the successful implementation of these solutions.

Meet Amanda Bittner, 10K’s New Delivery Manager

Today, we proudly announce that Amanda Bittner has joined the 10K team as our first dedicated Delivery Manager!

Like many in the Salesforce ecosystem, Amanda fell into her career accidentally. Shortly after starting law school in Australia and realizing law was not her passion, Amanda jumped into technology sales. Her tech career led her from project management in the public policy sector to serving as a Salesforce trainer for a consulting firm and holding various roles within the Salesforce consulting world, including associate, consultant, director, administrator, architect, and manager. With eight years of experience, Amanda has honed a unique set of skills as a delivery management expert.

Read on to get to know Amanda, what she appreciates most about our approach to Salesforce consulting, and how her role will add value to the 10K Community.

You’re 10K’s first Delivery Manager. What is your vision for the role, and what are you most excited to accomplish in your first year?

My vision for this first year feels like a kaleidoscope. When I consider 10K’s growth since its founding nearly eight years ago, I can see the variety of beautiful pieces and shapes that have made the company what it is today. The 10K team has embraced and capitalized on its unique blend of expertise to build a one-of-its-kind company.

In this first year, I’m eager to bring my perspective and skills into view. As the company’s first dedicated Delivery Manager, it will be my job to capitalize on 10K’s proven processes and create an exceptional delivery experience for our customers, experts, partners, and internal team.

10K’s on-demand consulting model is unique in our industry. Why do you believe in the model, and why do you think what we’re doing matters so much in the Salesforce ecosystem?

Salesforce is a textbook disruptor whose commitment to innovation has paved the way for a thriving and growing ecosystem. 10K is on the same path with our on-demand consulting services. We are leading an overdue and necessary shakeup to the traditional consulting model from the top down.

I’m passionate about Salesforce and 10K because I believe in one of their shared core values: trust. We have earned the trust of our experts, customers, and partners to provide an exceptional experience with every engagement.

10K’s vision is to give people the freedom to excel at the work they love. How do you see yourself and your role in this vision?

To create freedom, you have to eliminate what weighs you down. My role is to identify the areas where I can relieve a burden for our internal team, our customers, and our experts so that they can gain more strength, support, and flexibility to excel at what they love to do.

What is your favorite adventure?

My favorite adventure is the adventure I have not had yet. I have been incredibly blessed to have traveled to six continents, lived in three countries, and done some incredible things. However, I also know that there is an adventure in the ordinary, too, and I try to live out each day, finding some adventure. Whether it is big or small, near or far! Next on my adventure bucket list are Patagonia and to climb Mt.Kilimanjaro.

Meet Rob Brown, 10K’s New Business Development Leader

Today, we proudly announce that Rob Brown has joined the 10K team as a Business Development leader!

Rob has spent most of his 25-year tech career helping hundreds of customers overcome complex challenges to transform their businesses in the digital age. His storied career – dedicated to building, running, and selling data-driven applications – gives Rob the competitive edge to attack customers’ real problems and accelerate innovation.

Read on to learn more about Rob and how his expertise will help us expand our on-demand consulting model across the Salesforce ecosystem.

What is your vision for your role in business development, and what are you most excited to accomplish in your first year?

I have been passionate about the Salesforce platform since I was introduced to it in 2002. It’s been incredible to watch its evolution in terms of technological advances and the growth of the ISV and consulting partner ecosystem. With an overwhelming amount of capabilities and products available to Salesforce customers, the most common challenge I see is orgs struggling to get the most value out of their investment. With 10K’s on-demand model, I am very excited to connect the ecosystem’s most elite experts to companies that want to take their business to the next level.

10K’s on-demand consulting model is unique in our industry. Why do you believe in the model, and why do you think what we’re doing matters so much in the Salesforce ecosystem?

As I mentioned, there are so many companies that are struggling to get the most out of Salesforce. On top of that, many of them simply don’t have access to the best expertise due to time, budget constraints, or simply not knowing which partner to work with. 10K’s model is a necessary disruption to the traditional consulting model that is, quite honestly, broken.

10K’s mission is to give people the freedom to excel at the work they love. How do you see yourself and your role serving 10K’s mission?

As a Salesforce Developer myself, I love to create new solutions on the platform, yet as a creative person, there is a lot about running a business day to day that I really don’t like. Being an entrepreneur is incredibly hard. The fact that 10K shoulders the common burdens of running a business for their experts – invoicing, chasing payments, maintaining a sales pipeline, etc. – is a game-changer for Salesforce entrepreneurs. Our support system enables them to focus on the work they do best and what they love most.

What is your favorite adventure?

Most folks who know me will tell you that I hate being inside. I like to have the wind in my hair (in fact, my best friend recently told me that he has never seen my car with the top up.) As a function of that, you can usually find me racing sailboats twice a week. I recently participated in the California Coastal Cup, a race from San Francisco to San Diego over about four days. That crew is now gearing up for the TransPack, a 2,300-mile race from Los Angeles to Honolulu.

Meet Allen Lovett, 10K’s New Business Development Leader

Today, we proudly announce that Allen Lovett has joined the 10K team as a Business Development leader!

Allen has spent the last 30 years of his tech career managing and building impactful sales teams at industry-leading enterprises. From his time supporting CRM-CX (Oracle) to working in the Salesforce ecosystem, Allen has learned that well-strategized customizations and integrations are essential to end-user satisfaction and adoption. With 10K’s innovative on-demand consulting model, he aims to help more customers maximize their Salesforce investment without the friction and overpromises of traditional consulting practices.

Read on to learn more about Allen and how he will help 10K reach even more Salesforce customers who want to transform their businesses.

What is your vision for your role in business development, and what are you most excited to accomplish in your first year?

My ultimate goal is simple. I want to help more Salesforce customers tackle their complex business challenges with 10K’s on-demand, best-in-class consulting services. There are two unique aspects to how we can make that a reality:

  1. Prove that metadata assessments can deliver projects on time and on budget
  2. Give life to the AI opportunity

It’s thrilling to know I joined 10K at a pivotal moment. We have an exceptional team with a real passion for helping companies maximize their Salesforce ROI to reach new heights. I’m eager to contribute to 10K’s maturation as the Salesforce ecosystem’s most innovative and impactful consulting firm.

10K’s on-demand consulting model is unique in our industry. Why do you believe in the model, and why do you think what we’re doing matters so much in the Salesforce ecosystem?

10K’s mission is to give people the freedom to excel at the work they love. This sentiment encapsulates what is most meaningful for the Salesforce experts – the Architects, Consultants, Developers, etc. – that make the technology sing. These folks thrive on getting in the weeds with complex business challenges and building solutions that make a real difference for customers. They deserve the right support to focus on the work they love most.

Our team finds it incredibly rewarding that our infrastructure (invoicing, billing, marketing, community support, etc.) empowers Salesforce experts to focus on projects they enjoy and excel in. 10K has countless success stories illustrating how we execute in the trenches so our skill position players can deliver major wins for our customers.

10K’s mission is to give people the freedom to excel at the work they love. How do you see yourself and your role serving 10K’s mission?

The beauty of our mission is that it applies to Salesforce customers, too. I’m motivated by serving evolving customer needs and identifying solutions they need to transform. If we want to get granular, I also love using tools to assess challenges in Salesforce deployments and provide rapid, scalable solutions. It will be a thrill to see how our mission and services will evolve to use AI at every stage of a project, from definition to evaluation and deployment.

What is your favorite adventure?

While not the most adventurous soul, I enjoy trying to hit a golf shot in a situation calling for focus and execution. When I’m looking for a rollercoaster, I tune in to a basketball game of one of the teams I love to watch.

Meet Katie Villanueva, 10K’s New Salesforce Administrator

Today, we proudly announce that Katie Villanueva has joined our team as 10K’s first dedicated Salesforce Administrator for our internal org!

Katie will be instrumental in supporting the initiatives that advance 10K’s mission: to help more customers and Salesforce experts gain the freedom to excel at the work they love. Her extensive Administrator experience and deep involvement in the Salesforce community make Katie an exciting addition to the 10K team.

Read on to learn more about Katie, her vision for her new role, and how 10K’s on-demand model is helping Trailblazers across the ecosystem achieve their dreams.

You’re 10K’s first dedicated Admin. What is your vision for the role, and what are you most excited to accomplish in your first year?

My first year will be focused on growth and absorbing all of the processes, flows, pain points, and efficiencies within 10K’s platform. The more I understand how the business is set up from the inside out, the more I can flex my Admin muscle and accomplish what I came to do:

  1. Optimize functionality
  2. Enhance operational efficiencies

Joining 10K, a company that is at the forefront of modern Salesforce consulting, is an awesome opportunity to learn from its team of Salesforce MVP Hall-of-Famers and community of elite Salesforce experts. I’m excited to help transform and carry out 10K’s vision for our internal platform into the future.

10K’s on-demand consulting model is unique in our industry. Why do you believe in the model, and why do you think what we’re doing matters so much in the Salesforce ecosystem?

There are two layers to my answer. One: I love Salesforce. I love what it can do, I love building it, and I love how it solves business problems and provides a suite of services to provide a full 360 customer experience. I’ve seen how it can transform a company into a well-oiled machine. That’s why it makes me sad when I hear folks say they’ve tried Salesforce, but it didn’t work out, or when businesses get rid of Salesforce because they don’t know how to use it to its full potential. It’s important to me that we give customers an opportunity to evolve and enhance their businesses using Salesforce because everyone deserves a chance to be great at what they do.

This takes me to the second part: The Trailblazer community. Everyone has hopes and dreams, and if being an independent consultant is the dream or facilitates the dream, then I want to help those people be successful. Everyone deserves happiness, and 10K helps people and businesses achieve their goals. Can it get any better than that? Everybody wins!

10K’s vision is to give people the freedom to excel at the work they love. How do you see yourself and your role in this vision?

Not only will I see the vision, I will embody it. I love to learn and grow and build, and now I get to do it all with an incredible company and people! As 10K’s Salesforce Administrator, I will be their fully dedicated expert to support and sustain the exciting growth we have ahead of us. It will be my responsibility to support an infrastructure that’s well-organized, responsive, and trustworthy. This will pave the way for 10K to create more opportunities for its growing community of Salesforce independent consultants and help more customers maximize their ROI.

What is your favorite adventure?

In some ways, I feel like the best adventure is yet to come. I’m a Chicago girl who moved to Kentucky to be a farmer, graduated with a degree in radio, was a DJ for a time, and somehow ended up working in tech. Now, I live with my husband in a log cabin on 14 acres with three fainting goats, two dogs, and a garden we’re still trying to find time for. I got into Olympic weightlifting after a few years of CrossFit, am a yoga instructor, and have been rock climbing on and off for the last 20 years. My life has been incredibly unpredictable, but all in all, I’m happy with how it all turned out.
